Rhyddings Surgery
Rhyddings Surgery is here to serve the health needs of anyone who lives in or near Oswaldtwistle. The Surgery started in the building next to the war memorial (originally the shop fitters) but since 2003 has been in its own beautifully adapted building. It was used as a vicarage before us, but before that it was a Doctor's Surgery.
There are surgeries every day with late surgeries on Tuesdays. Antenatal Clinic is on Thursday morning and Baby Clinic is on Tuesday morning.

The nurses are Vikki Hardwicke (who as well as doing Practice Nursing duties will see patients with any health issues) Louise Westwell and Toni van der Zwaan.
Our Site Manager is Gill Heys, who has day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of Rhyddings Surgery. She will be able to help you with any queries you have about administrative or non-clinical aspects of your care. She will be please to receive any suggestions about how we may improve our services.
Reception is led by Kathy Cottam. Other receptionists include Sue Wolstenholme, Joanne Thompson and Rebecca Hill.
Lesley Brewer, Administrative Assistant is also based here.

New Patients
We accept anyone who lives in our practice area as new patients. You can register by completing a registration form which can be obtained from the practice. When you register, we will ask you to make an appointment to see either the practice nurse or healthcare assistant for a new patient health check. This will make sure that our records are accurate and all routine checks to promote your health and wellbeing (such as blood pressure/smear tests/mammograms) are up-to-date.

How to Find Us
Rhyddings Surgery is on Union Road, Oswaldtwistle
If travelling from Church we are situated close to Oswaldtwistle Mills, just before St Paul's School.
You can reach us by coming off the M65 at the Junction 7 (Accrington). Turn right at the traffic lights to drive past Hyndburn Sports Centre and turn right at the traffic lights on Blackburn Road. Turn immediately left at the second set of traffic lights. Go under the railway bridge (Church and Oswaldtwistle Station) and the surgery is just after Oswaldtwistle Mills, also on the left side of the road. Turn 2nd left after Oswaldtwistle Mills, into Frederick Street to get to the car park behind the Surgery.
