Welcome to Cornerstone Healthcare. We are based at Bentham Road Health Centre, Mill Hill and serve the whole of South West Blackburn.

Cornerstone Healthcare is more than just a GP surgery. We are a Community Interest Company, which means that any profits made are ploughed back into serving the local community.

Bentham Road also employs two Advanced Practitioners who can assess, diagnose and prescribe for a wide range of clinic issues,

Our Practice Nurses, carry out various health reviews and can advise on asthma, diabetes, heart disease, weight loss and other lifestyle issues. They also do vaccinations and smears.

Our Health Care Assistant is able to carry out new registration checks, blood tests, blood pressure checks and other health care needs.

Trudi Jenkinson has day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of Bentham Road Health Centre. She will be able to help you with any queries you have about administrative or non-clinical aspects of your care. Trudi will be pleased to receive any suggestions about how we may improve our services.

Bentham Road have an experienced reception team who are led by Emily.

Cornerstone Healthcare also have a wider administration, Secretarial teams who support all Cornerstone surgeries with the day to day non-clinical duties.

New Patients

We accept anyone who lives in our practice area as new patients. You can register by completing a registration form which can be obtained from the practice. When you register, we will ask you to make an appointment to see either the practice nurse or healthcare assistant for a new patient health check. This will make sure that our records are accurate and all routine checks to promote your health and wellbeing (such as blood pressure/smear tests/mammograms) are up-to-date.
