To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday) 

  • Phone us Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm. 
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm. 

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.   

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse, or health professional to help you. 

To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days 

  • Phone us Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm. 
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm.

Your appointment 

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation: 

  • by phone 
  • face to face at the surgery 
  • on a video call 
  • by text or email. 

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner. 

Cancelling or changing an appointment 

If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, Use an online form accessing Patchs locate your surgery here: https://www.cornerstonepractice.com/online-services/ from 6pm to 10am, to request an appointment. We will respond within 48 hours when we are open. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm.

Use the NHS App  to quickly cancel booked appointments instead of having to telephoning us.

Otherwise please contact us by telephone or visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist.   

If you need help when we are closed 

In the event of an emergency when the surgery is closed please telephone 111 for advice. 

Your needs will be assessed, and advise offered, or arrangements made for you to see a clinician. If the out of hours (OOH) service decides that the problem is not of an urgent nature you will be asked to contact the surgery during normal working hours. If the OOH service advises you need to be seen urgently you must be prepared to travel to the appointment as arranged with them. 

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. 

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
